Who are we at Lititz Mennonite?   With quite a few gray hairs among us, the schedule and activity plans are quite a bit different than they were 20 years ago. Now that young families no longer regularly attend our services we ask ourselves, what is our mission and what is the future of our expression of the body of Christ.

If Jesus was among us, what would he be saying? Let's not operate in silos, let's cooperate and build a common witness of the goodness of God.  Let's hold on to hope because God is faithful even when others around are down. Let's spur one another on to love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:23-25)

So, while we have strength, we share with others, we encourage other ministries, we look to bless others, we care for each other and we share the hope that we have in Jesus.  Our creator loved us so much that he made a way for us to be reconciled, to live in communion with God.

Sometimes that spurs us on to stand against injustices, to speak up for those being mistreated.  Sometimes it means stepping in to help bring peace to a situation.  It certainly includes prayer so that the Holy Spirit can minister according to God's will.
