Philippians 3: 13b-14

The colors and lights and music of December are behind us. The calendar of the "Church Year" points to events and teachings in the life of Jesus whose birth we have just celebrated. Christ's followers are moving along to live into the life He came to bring.

Let's embrace the way of Jesus in the New Year.  It cannot be boring and ineffectual.   Jesus speaks justice, righteousness, grace, love and it all costs something.  And it also works goodness deep in our souls.  And hopefully we are leaving space for a touch of His Spirit as we walk together.
